About Low-vision
having impaired vision that cannot be corrected by glasses, surgery or medication. The most common cause of low vision is macular degeneration, an age-related disease that affects the central portion of the visual field. Other common causes include glaucoma, cataracts and diabetes.

Emmetropia. If your vision is very clear with no refractive error or
de-focus, you have emmetropia.
Shortsighted. When objects up close look visibly clear but objects in the distance look blurred, this can mean that you are shortsighted.
Longsigted, Astigmatism, Presbyopia.

Use contrasting colors. For instance, use a dark tablecloth with white plates so you can see table edges and food more prominently.
