Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (PoTS) is a condition that affects the autonomic nervous system, causing an abnormal increase in heart rate when a person moves from lying down to standing up. It can lead to a variety of symptoms and often significantly impacts daily life.

type of Postural Tachycardia 

  • Rapid heart rate (palpitations) upon standing

  • Lightheadedness or dizziness

  • Fatigue

  • Nausea

  • Brain fog or difficulty concentrating

  • Shakiness

  • Sweating

  • Exercise intolerance

  • Sometimes fainting (less common than in other types of dysautonomia)
